Oklahoma May Become A Medical Marijuana Growers Paradise In 2018.

Hello, I'm a board member of Oklahomans for Health, a non-profit that has put the most progressive marijuana law in the United States on the ballot for Oklahoma voters to approve on November 6, 2018. We gathered the necessary signatures on a shoe-string budget and broke voter registration records as well. What you might not know about Oklahoma is that despite our national reputation, there is STRONG support across age and political lines for safe access to medical marijuana. Here is an example of the last state wide poll to document support for MMJ and this poll was conducted before we ran our last signature drive. http://soonerpoll.com/poll-oklahomans-views-of-marijuana-are-changing/

Our proposed law (SQ788) would truly be the most progressive MMJ law in the U.S. It would allow unlimited plants to be grown with the proper license. It would allow partial outside the state ownership of entities, inter-state commerce when permissible, reciprocal licensing for patients, and more. It would also help our schools because 75% of excess tax revenue will be donated to the general fund to be used solely for education funding. We did this because our schools in Oklahoma have received massive cuts in funding from our current Governor. You can read the full text of our ballot measure and see for yourself how this law, if passed, will make Oklahoma the most business and patient friendly state in the union. https://ballotpedia.org/Oklahoma_State_Question_788,_Medical_Marijuana_Legalization_Initiative_(2018)

Finally, I would like to ask you for your support. So far, we have run all of our campaigns on local volunteer effort and small donations. We want Oklahoma to show the rest of the southern states that medical marijuana is not just for the coastal states, and that it can be a bipartisan issue. This law is also a desperate effort to recover our state's economy which has been decimated under our current governor who will be leaving office before the vote on 788 is hopefully passed. So, please, donate to our non-profit's effort to change our small state for the better. Donate to help us convince more people that medical marijuana can be a new cash crop for southern states. And donate to help us help the patients of Oklahoma. Thank you for your time and #VoteYesOn788! https://www.paypal.me/oklahomansforhealth
