Those of you who had just one boyfriend/girlfriend all through high school and college, do you feel like you have a different perspective on dating & sex compared to your friends?
I don't really know how to explain what I'm asking here. I feel like since I have only had one girlfriend and we were together for so long, each other's first everything, etc...it has made me only want deep, long term relationships. The thought of hookups, summer flings, and all that just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. It's like I was so deeply in love and so loyal for so long, that it makes it harder for me to view women and dating the way most of my guy friends do. They all seem so thirsty all the time, but I just want a close friend who could eventually become a girlfriend. I'm not really interested in going out and flirting with girls at the bar or anything like that. Can anybody relate?
