Trump, please look into working against Davis-Bacon!!

I know President Trump and his associates sometimes read the forum. The Davis-Bacon act of 1931 requires ANY project that receives federal monies to adhere to very strict, very costly and mostly nonsensical rules.

Being in the construction industry in the great state of Georgia, I have seen the impacts it has had. Davis-Bacon projects, as they are called, raise construction prices by 15-18%!!!!!!

Often times, state and local governments are better off NOT TAKING FEDERAL MONEY if it is available for their project. It is an outdated law that is costing local governments millions and possibly billions of dollars!!!
