Emotional After Donation

I gave blood a few hours ago for the first time and I'm 17. I was nearly sick and went dizzy at the time but now I'm home I feel fine. My only thing is that I've been perfectly happy all day but about an hour after getting home I started feeling really emotional and can't stop crying. Did anyone else get this and do you think the two are linked?
