Would having a HDMI to Display Port conversion still grant my 4k monitor a 60 hert refresh rate?

The monitor is a Samsung UHD 28" Monitor

which with HDMI is capped out at 30fps

Now my Asus ROG laptop does not have a Display port. So, could I use an adapter to run the display port from my Monitor into the HDMI adapter and still have a 60 hert refresh rate?
