[Discussion] Anyone using a Behringer ADI21? Thought it was a steal for $30 but am returning the second defective unit I've received. Seems like there's not much that's similar in the sub $100 range - should I try purchasing a 3rd unit or can anyone recommend anything similar for <$100?

Any time I look at lists of the "Best Acoustic Guitar DI Boxes/Preamps" the Behringer ADI21 ends up on the list and says something along the lines of, "For the price, you should at least get one as a back up" but I am shipping back my second unit that hasn't worked out of the box! The first wouldn't power on via the 9 volt battery and smoked with the properly rated power adapter (9v, 50 ma) and the second won't accept and input and only powers on when the input and outputs are swapped. I'm shipping it back momentarily for a refund.

Should I try a third ADI21? Are there any other DI/Preamps for acoustic guitars with similar function and similar to better quality for less than $100?
