Adding Fruit to Secondary

Making a raspberry wheat. Have about 3-4# frozen raspberries. Earlier it was mentioned to add Pectic Enzyme. With the berries being frozen (they were fresh off plant) should I still add it? Also should I secondary into a bucket instead of carboy (for ease of containing berries).
