Lucian W Frame Drops

Hey guys, Over the past week or so, I've been experiencing frame drops in the neighborhood of 20 - 30 when casting Lucian's W. Normally I cap my frames at 80. It seems to be a problem with the passive effects on creeps and champions as well, though I believe the w effect is the main culprit. Lucian is near unplayable for me now since skirmishing just plain sucks. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Have any fixes? Thank you!
