Can you evolve in a company as a pentester ?

Hi everybody,

I'm planning on working in Network Security, more like a Pentester (after I graduate), and I was wondering if it's possible to evolve in a company and climb the ladder to get a better salary after some years/experience ? (if you know some numbers that would be great).
