Is it over?

I'm 30 and I started speaking to this girl in work. She was really keen on me and I on her. However because we worked together she wanted to take things slowly. I was talking to her via text and at the end of a text I asked if we could go for a quick coffee break. She never answered my question but did text back something humorous. I walked by her in the corridor later but she was talking with someone but gave me a smile. I then get a couple of short response texts. Back at work I emailed her and she never responded for a while. In the meantime I stupidly started emailing her saying things like if you are not comfortable I will leave you alone. We can just be friends if you want but if not thats also cool. I sent like 5 emails in this space of time. The last one being sorry for being an absolute weirdo but please let's have a chuckle at this later. She then texts me back so obviously she wasn't getting my emails. She then reads the emails and says don't worry about it I'm happy to be friends. Which was what we planned in the beginning. Not sure if she was saying that to stop me emailing. Anyway, I've not responded. I feel soooo embarrassed about acting like a child. I have fucked it right? I shouldn't contact her again should I? Why didn't she just say leave me alone when I gave her the opportunity too.

Tldr I texted her too much because I was para. She answers how do I respond? If at all.

Edit. Should I preempt and go to hr myself about the issue? Tell them what I've done. This way it's not a shock If she decides to go.
