Ket + Piroctone Olamine + Ethanol solution

Hi, on another board I read about a ket + piroctone olamine + ethanol solution. If I understood that correctly, they think that this solution can penetrate the scalp better than the shampoo. They say you put it on the scalp with a syringe and let it there for 30mins.

1. What do you think about this solution?
2. Is ethanol safe for the hair? I would mix 20ml 2%-Ket-Shampoo with 20ml 80% Ethanol.
