had a great interview, never heard back for 10 days...

so what do i do? should i email the HR person and ask if they've made a decision? does doing that make me look worse or anxious and they take me off the table? for history on this this is my second interview within 6 months for this company. first one was for a completely different project for a 6 month contract, this second interview is another 6 month contract, completely different project. both interviews required a 'test' to see if I could deliver and I did both. Now if I ask, 10 days later, after a successful interview and even more successful test, does that look bad or eager or what?
