"Avg. XP per battle" broken in the profile summary? ...
For quite a while i have wondered why the "Average XP earned per battle" number in my profile summary ingame was not really relating to what i experienced.
This number here is what i mean. (Edit: Oh and the same applies to the "Most per battle, XP")
Often i looked there and thought for example "wow, i once had a 4500xp round in Fletcher"... sure, at first i would have thought "oh yes, thats boosted XP of course, including flags and camos. No way did i have a 4500 base xp round"... and the same for other ships. Almost always quite high numbers. But then again, i have had rounds way beyong 10.000 boosted xp in those ships. But the profile says something in between?!
Today i bought the Sims, i noted every battle i have done so far:
-
Profile summary claims: 2086
-
What i actually did as base xp: 1390 (rounded)
-
What i actually did as boosted xp: 3129 (rounded)
Now i currently have premium time running... thats +50% xp on top of the base...
- 1390 * 1.5 = 2085
So i guess we can assume that the profile summary is showing base xp, unless the player had premium time, then it does add the +50% from there. But why does it ignore other boosts, such as camo and flags? I am wondering where the logic in there is. And this makes it very hard to compare the numbers to other players. Only the actual base xp would be reliable, because that never changes, and you can compare a non-premium to a premium player with that. And i think some sites like wows-numbers also refer to this "wrong" average xp number, giving a much higher impression of the performance.
Shouldnt this be changed to actual base xp and ignore the premium boost? And/or add a second entry in the profile which shows the fully boosted xp number. (pinging u/Sub_octavian, or am i completely missing something here?)
