As a potential provider: What is the current supply/demand for Sia based storage?
Thinking about buying a dedicated NUC (that would also run as my Plex server) not to mine, but to use for the extra 3-4TB that are RAID10'd on my NAS. However mining coin is arguably more guaranteed to yield coin insofar as assuming worst case no one actually uses Sia itself you at least have potential coin at whatever the market values it at.
Without having to download the binaries and do a huge amount of analysis I was wondering how supply and demand line up for renters and providers at this point in time. Are there are a statistically significant greater number of providers/provider space than renter demand thus making it unlikely to yield any return as a provider, etc? Thanks!
