Best brake pads for LS swapped e30 ?

I'm currently not getting a lot of bite from my current brake pads (unknown to me what brand/type they are). I rarely do any track, mostly very spirited canyon driving.
On 4 lug with stock calipers. Stoptech rotors. I heard OEM brake pads are the way to go. If that's the case are there better versions from newer gens that will fit my calipers ?
