How to make the TE comeback route easy

The TE comeback route in the run the route as a receiver live event has always frustrated me. It can be hard to get the TE to turn around and run exactly where you want. The route is actually really easy though because you are allowed to make the catch in the gates as well as the zone. Now I just try to make the catch as the TE runs through the third gate without turning around. It makes this event way less frustrating.
