Has your Nparent ever tried to trap you into a confrontation?

While I was babysitting a 10 year old in the family at my nmom's house, she starts screaming at me, calling me a moron, and otherwise making a huge scene that I couldn't walk away from. 'Why don't you do this?' and 'Why don't you do that?'.

I walk out on the porch to get away from her for 5 minutes. I was ready to snap and didn't want to lose my cool around the kid. I hear her yell while I'm on the porch.

"Well you can't just LEAVE, you're babysitting." she sneers at me. "You always hide when I tell you something you don't want to hear...what else is new?" She went on and on relentlessly until I came back inside.

She waited until I was BABYSITTING to start harassing me, because she knew I would be forced to interact with her whether I wanted to or not.

That's some dirty, manipulative shit.
