Let me level with you folks. I'm profoundly mediocre at video games. I'm open to improving, recording myself, being critical with my play, and all that jazz. But that's not the main reason I game. I game for the joy of working with a team to win (or lose). I game because I enjoy the mechanics and sensations of play. I game because it's just damned fun.

I'm here because I miss the camaraderie of a guild and haven't found people I clicked with in a long time.

I guess I'm pretty typical for a redditor; older maybe. I have a wonderful wife who used to help me heal in WoW (but isn't into FPS), a toddler and another baby on the way any day now. (So I guess I'll be busy shortly. :P)

I love animated stuff; anime, western, CG, stop motion, it's all good. I like wholesomeness and kindness and people who want to build each other up. I really appreciate good communication and respect. I love comedy and cracking jokes and not taking myself too seriously. Musicwise I dig metal and EDM and weird mashups/covers and the odd bit of almost everything else. Also I like to cook.
