Pc upgrade I need suggestions

I am upgrading from and intel i7 2600s 2.8Ghz and a crappy LGA 1155 motherboard. I am currently looking into buying a new Mobo and CPU for under 500$ any suggestions?? I am thinking about the msi 970 gaming and the Fx 8350 , and with my extra money getting a better CPU cooler
