Is Ray Black Jr fired?

I haven't seen Ray Black Jr for a while, for some reason he was replaced by Todd Bodine for Charlotte, and I can't recall him for the other races after that, and Forrester seems to be driving in Michigan, so what is going on for Ray Black Jr, was he finally released?
