D Day invasion scenes

Referring to the omaha beach scene in saving private ryan, which is honest to god the best scene in any world war 2 movie that I have ever seen, period.

I wonder why no other world war 2 movies trued to top that, like no other new world war 2 movies even attempted to shoot another d day scene, was it just too good??
