Can Someone Provide Reading Material on how assembly/machine code/binary gets Turned into Electronic Signals in the CPU from the Program/OS?

Can anyone provide any comprehensive reading material on how code gets to the CPU and is turned into electronic signals in the transistors, gates, etc and then back?
