I'm looking for some advice

Hello! I'm fairly new to reddit, but i've been reading stuff here for quite some time now. I am looking for some advice from anyone who might be able to help me. The issue I'm having is fairly simple: I don't know how to let go. Every time i get there, i don't know what to do and so the trip teaches me the same lesson. The lesson is something like "you cannot do this and then do nothing. If you do that, you'll regret it" but even when I made a list of what to do, i simply couldn't bring myself to do them. Can someone point me to the right direction?
