Not sure if a joke or they're serious
We've had problems getting equipment ever since meat cap started, so basically 3.5 months. I'm a department manager, and have not had a t70, mc40, or 960 for months. Have told management repeatedly.
We were told by ap we didn't need more than one handheld for the entire department, and we'd have to share and make do with one. Again, I tell management all the way up to the store manager, and nothing is done. I'm told to make do with what I have.
No night shift cleaner, no overnight people touch our freight. New assistant manager with no fresh experience tells me I have to cap all 97 and frozen 93 every day, no exceptions. I point out I have no handheld and I would have to spend all day running the freight if I cap it, as all I have is an opener and a closer every day, and I wouldn't have time for anything else.
"No exceptions, figure it out."
I get called into the office today and coached for "not getting my work done. I point out the fact that they refuse to get me any equipment, and I'm told they don't want excuses. I'm told I have to follow one best way, and I ask why they still haven't gotten me the cleaner and overnight help one best way requires, or the manpower to execute one best way during the day. "We're here to talk about you."
Am in in the twilight zone or something?
