US-UK VISA APPROVED! DISTANCE CLOSING SOON!

US Native here! We applied for the UK fiance visa when he was living with his parents last year and it was denied.

We applied 3 months ago when he was no longer living with his parents and had gotten his own 1 bedroom flat and I was newly outed as pregnant and we just got the approval letter in the mail today!

I'm soooo excited! I just booked my one-way ticket 5 minutes ago! I could not be more happier!

My words of advice are to just keep trying and to be independent. My app last year wouldve easily been approved had we known about the whole house inspection. Everything is fine with our flat and we are perfectly happy with it and to stay there despite our situation.

Good luck to everyone! I'll be sure to make updated posts and especially when I become a Brit citizen in 5 years. Yeah yeah...I have time to change my mind but I am deadset against changing it.
