Thinning out the collection?

At one point I had three DMGs, four Pockets, two Micros, two SPs, two Colors, and a backlit AGB. I realized collecting was becoming a large money pit for me. I didn't enjoy playing games anymore. I've since decided to only keep clear variations, aside from my backlit AGB.

It feels good to let go of that need to buy more hardware. I was able to sell all the excess off and make a fair bit more than I'd put into the hobby.

Any of y'all come to the same sort of conclusion after building a larger hardware collection?
