What's hiding in the dark

Most children are scared of the dark. They fear what it could hide: ghosts, vampires, zombies, etc.

But not 5 year old Mya. She wasn't scared of the dark. In fact, she preferred it. She didn't believe in any ghosts, vampires, or zombies.

Some might say she was "brave", but a more accurate adjective would be "smart".

She knew he couldn't see where she was hiding in the dark.

The scariest things are the ones we know exist.
