Looking for advice on screening for fundamentals
Hi guys,
I've been trading for a few months. I've been doing OK, overall I haven't gained any but haven't lost any either. I quickly became obsessed with technicals, but I feel very vulnerable due to my lack of attention paid to the fundamental aspect of stocks.
I like using finviz for a screener. I'm looking to get some momentum trades going. I want to also sell premium on stocks I feel comfortable holding for month or more at a time.
What sort of basic attributes should I be filtering? Off the top of my head, I'm thinking P/E, EPS, and ROI... I understand what the terms mean but I have trouble interpreting their value as they relate to the performance of a stock/company.
Would you mind sharing your screening technique for quality companies? Thanks in advance.
