Any recommendations on a new infotainment/head unit system for 2010 Mk VI?

I'm wanting to replace the stock head unit on my 2010 GTI with something more modern (preferably with CarPlay). I've been looking at this. I've read that a lot of third party units will have trouble, particularly with the steering wheel controls. Does anyone have any recommendations on particular replacements that might work well?
