Room for the Luteces

With the (unfortunately disproven) hype for a new Bioshock game at E3, I did a lot of thinking about what I would personally want to see in a new installment to the series. I realize that, for the most part, all bases have been covered. We have seen Rapture in its glory days, and seen it in its dilapidated state in Bioshock 2. Along with this, the entire story surrounding Columbia is very circular, with little room for addition.

I believe that the Lutece twins offer a wonderful potential for a fresh start. Considering their powers, I believe we could visit new universes, using them as the tie-in to the previous Bioshock trilogy. Maybe they experiment more with tears, trying to create another person like themselves or Elizabeth. Or perhaps they can just have a cameo in any future lighthouse + man + city ideas. Regardless, they have the freedom to potentially introduce us to future titles, and I would absolutely love to see more of them.
