Are rhino's the worst deal

I was planning on writing this before i saw the recent #savetherhinos challenge. A couple weeks ago, after much debate I spent my WPs on a new shiny rhino. Little did I realize that they are terrible. I've tried many many setups (RDB, 600m homers, mags+orks, pinatas + orks). I can't see any situation where I'd rather have a rhino than a (much cheaper) griffin. The charge ability sucks since you cant strafe and are extremely easily flanked and of course get pummeled by rockets. If you turn off charge then you get killed extremely easily due to slow speed and HP.

Does anyone current like their rhino? What setups are you using?
