Newbie! Any tips?

Hey guys! I'm just downloading the free trial as we speak, with the intention of subbing sometime within the next couple of weeks.

I can see this is probably a rough time to be starting out, but do you guys have any tips/suggestions for a brand new player?

I haven't even created a character yet. Just trying to get the lay of the land!
