[Request] How many cubic meters of air are there (roughly speaking) in the United States?

Odd question, I know. I am working on a story that involves air being extracted from certain areas (and no new air being created due to ozone damage and plant population damage), and I want to know the rough total amount so I can appropriately determine how much to take away from the unlucky inhabitants
