People who have asked r/Albany for help in finding an apartment/place to live, how did it turn out?

Being a local sub, there's probably at least one post every week asking for help in finding an apartment or where to look for a house, but no one ever seems to come back and say, "here's what we did" and whether or not they like their arrangements.

So, to anyone who's asked, did you follow any of the advice? Did it turn out to be good advice? Where did you end up?
