What to ask ENT to get the most out of it?

Hey, I am going to get an appointment to an ENT doctor (Ear-Neck-Throat doctor) and from where I am we as patients basically have to come prepared with questions else the doctor will usually just do a simple routine check and then say there's nothing that can be done. I would greatly appreciate if I could get some suggestions on different things worth mentioning to the ENT doctor just in case it turns out the ENT doctor isn't the very helpful type. Thanks
