Something new about freezes I've experienced

So before in a freeze you're just stuck to waiting out your opponent or quitting yourself

I got to a couple of freezes last night and about 5 minutes into it the loading screen pops up, the one with Anthony Rizzo, and I get taken to the que pop up and nothing happens. Game didn't count.

Is it just an outlier or are SDS disconnecting games where a freeze occurs?
