Did Jesus reject divine violence and/or divinely sanctioned violence?

If we look at the prophecy of Isaiah 11, for instance, the spirit-anointed servant of YHWH from the line of David will be given a spirit of might by which he "shall slay the wicked"(4). Further, "those who harass Judah shall be cut off."(13)

It seems in this text that violence is part of the means by which Isaiah imagines YHWH will makes peace for His people. Does Jesus reinterpret/reject such an understanding in your view?
