Ideas for places to demo Virtual Reality

Hey guys,

So I have a Vive based VR setup at home, which I put together with portability in mind.

I can pack the whole system up into few enough cases that I can carry everything in one (uncomfortable) trip and set it up/ break it down in about 30-45 minutes.

I like running VR demos, especially for those who haven't tried it before and maybe who aren't even aware it exists.

I've run demos at a local arcade game expo as well as taking it to assisted living and active living elderly facilities, which has been a lot of fun.

Does anyone out there have a good idea of places I could go demo where it would benefit the recipients?

I don't charge for this, it's my hobby (I love to watch people experience VR for the first time). My only rules really relate to keeping my equipment, which I purchased out of my own pocket, in good condition. With this is mind, I ask that it's mostly older teenager / adults (no large groups of young kids) and ideally not around a lot of drunk people (i.e. bars) although somewhere where booze is available as an aside I'm fine with (like the arcade expo where the bar was open).

I can usually find somewhere to demo, but figured I'd open it up to the r/Houston board and see if there's something cool I could be doing with it that I hadn't thought of.

Thanks.
