It was a cakewalk for 6 months. Now it gets hard?

I pretty much considered myself a weight loss expert until this week. Eating vegetables and strawberries all day , cycling everyday (even when i don't feel like it to keep the routine) and having less of all the high calorie stuff. A few weeks ago i switched to "almost maintenance". I figured since i changed so much in my life it does not matter at which rate i will lose now. I will allow myself up to 2000 maximum and damn it felt good to eat a little more bread/pancakes/cake etc. But now i am hungry all day , even after having multiple meals
