Playing through an entire deck [Question]

On average what percentage of your deck do you play through durring scenario? I have never played a card game like this and in my first couple playthroughs of the first scenario i didn't seem to put much of a dent in my deck. Any advice would also give me a decent idea of how many cards to commit while doing skill test and probably help with my custom deck Construction. Thanks
