Are The Front Bottoms more popular than I've been let on to believe?

I always thought TFB was some small obscure band that not too many people knew but that kind of changed when I stopped by Hot Topic yesterday and saw a few of their shirts for sale. So, that got me wondering where these guys are bigger than I had imagined if they're having merch being sold there.
