Do you write intentionally or not? And if so, how?

Man, one of the biggest problems I have (and also, the small, growing scene to which I belong) is getting people to write more. I think a lot of people here all just sort of write as stuff comes to them, which does often yield higher quality stuff when it does come, but it ain't often. I can sometimes sit down intentionally to write and it does usually yield 5 pieces of shit and 1 good thing- what rituals do you guys have?
