employed Teachers, what topic would you recommend for an application essay?

So I applied to a high school teaching job recently and got rejected, which kind of killed my confidence in my application. I think I'm just looking for advice on what I can do better, specifically in the essay component and the cover letter, because I want to apply for my dream position but I'm really nervous about not getting it.

The position is teaching ESL in an inner city school. They want an essay on one of the following:

  1. The Most Important Qualities of an Outstanding Educator.

  2. My Philosophy of Student Discipline.

  3. The Importance of Continuing Professional Development and How I Plan to Incorporate It Throughout My Career.

  4. Essential Elements of Instruction, Administration or Area of Certification.

  5. How Information Technology (i.e., computers, Internet) Can Be Integrated into the Instructional Process and Curriculum.

Which topic would you recommend I chose for this type of position? And what would you recommend I include in the essay or cover letter? I should mention that I also just finished student teaching at this school, should I mention that in the essay or just the cover letter?

Thank you so much for any guidance. I've read so many great posts here and I just want to be an amazing teacher like so many of you on this subreddit.
