[90] LF secondary for loud loadout

So I usually do stealth but have been trying loud and realized I don't think I have an optimal secondary. I use a modded car-4 for 100/100 stability accuracy without dmr kit as my main primary. I was thinking of using the locomotive shotgun to get rid of the heavier enemies like dozers and such. I was just wondering would regular buckshot ammo be good enough or would a different ammo be better suited for my use?
