Twitter & YouTube Question

Twitter: How long does it take when I unfollow an account for related accounts and the account I followed to stop being recommend to me.

YouTube: What makes it worth while to follow a brand for you? I have noticed most accounts are only just a collection of their ads (ex. Buffalo Wild Wings).
