What would be the proper placement of acoustic foam in this room? What else would you recommend I do?
Here are four pics of the room, one from each corner: http://imgur.com/a/mlbWA I have blackout curtains that I can pull over all gaps and across the remaining wall behind the side table with the lamp (they're only pulled back for a bit of airflow right now). I am thinking I should remove the mirror as well. The placement of my couch, desk, and tv can't be moved since that's where all the plugs are. I heard pulling them away from the walls a bit tends to be best, though. Is that true? Flat ceiling and thick carpet. I've got foam for the corners and walls. I know this doesn't sound proof and only offers minor treatment. So where should I place these to maximize their potential? Or is placement irrelevant here?
