[Acne] Best kit/easiest/fastest/cheapest way to clear up acne?

I'm trying to figure out what to do to clear up my acne. I don't want to spend a ton of money, nor do I want to read through a 10 page guide.

What's the easiest, simplest, cheapest thing I can do? I've been taking Vitamin A tablets, but they don't seem to have that much of an effect. I've heard drinking lots of water helps too.
