How "deep" is pokken compared to smash 4

Question is the title, just want to know how "deep"or "shallow" this game is, I usually play guilty gear but Im sure its not as difficult, but is it as easy to play as smash4 or is it even easier? I dont want to play something way to easy.

Im interested in pokken deluxe.
