Server inventory

So I've got about 250 servers, CentOS and Debian, multiple versions. Now I would like to inventory those hosts, get a list of what hardware they run on, number of cpus, memory, storage, list of packages installed, list of processes running. I'd like that list saved to a file on my local machine so can filter it. Can you suggest the best way to do it? Thanks
