Fun summer camp/activities for kids! reasonable activities

I want my son to participate in some cool summer school program that helps him intellectually or helps grow his skill sets without breaking the bank. Anything fun- swim classes, art, paint, or fun stuff. i want him to have fun but be easy on my pocket.
Edit: Son is 7 years old
